NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

  Notice is hereby given that the Governing Body of the Village of Ruidoso has
called a Special Meeting for Saturday, August 27, 2005, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The Special Meeting will be held at the Village of Ruidoso Council Chambers,
313 Cree Meadows Drive, Ruidoso, New Mexico. The purpose of the Special
Meeting is as follows:

1.  Recommendation for Village of Ruidoso Attorney -
     Under Small Purchases Act '13-1-125, NMSA 1978.

2.     Discussion and Possible Action Concerning Request For Proposals
       (RFPs) for Village of Ruidoso Attorney Basic Legal Services,
       Water Rights, Legal Services, Water Rights Engineering, and
       Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Joint Use Board Legal Services.

3.      CLOSED SESSION: 

• Discussion of the purchase, acquisition, and/or disposal of real property and/or water rights by the Village of Ruidoso. '10-15-1.H.8, NMSA 1978.
